HOME MADE SOLAR POWER POOL HEATER

Solar power pool heating can be home-made at low cost for those with low budget that cant pay the 1000 dollars, her’s a solution for aprox 300 dollars cost.
You need :

copper tubes
T-joints
flame torch
tin wire
“U” shaped extruded frame
rivet gun & rivets or use silicone to fix frame
galvanised steel sheet (paint black)
grey foam sheet insulator roll
spray paint can
5mm glass
silicon sealer

all working a 1m x 2m solar panel will give at least 60 degrees at water tap pressure….this is because the tubes are in parallel and the speed at which the water runs thru the tubes is lower than entry and exit, transferring maximum amounts of heat from the black painted tubes.

good luck!

instead of forcing the water through the solar collector with hose from spigot what if you put the source hose right in the pool? would the water flow from the pool through the heater and back to the pool due to thermosiphoning?
